Banksy's Art

I must say that I am not that into art in any way. But Bansky's art is really amazing. The ideas that he comes up with are so random, but at the same time make you think and see how he is portraying his artwork.  His ideas are very extremely creative and very original.  He focuses on his own views and stand points about what is going on in society today and what he thinks the problems are in our world. I am amazed that he can create such amazing art in a very short amount of time, yet somehow not get caught or arrested for vandalism.  It is debatable on whether his art is considered "graffiti". For everyone who tags buildings, to one person it may just be graffiti and seen as vandalism, but to the person who created it, it could be their own art and their creativeness being expressed.

Passive vs. Active

After our class on passive and active writing and speech, I have learned a lot more about how to write.  I know now that in certain situations I will need to use passive writing, and I will need to use active writing, depending on the situation. The handouts and class activity will play a big part in how I will be writing my essay. Passive and active writing only have a few noticeable differences in how the words are placed, but when looking at the big picture, there is a HUGE difference.

Field Day Assignment

After completing this assignment I have realized that critical thinking is a very important part of how we live our everyday lives.  I feel that society would be a disaster if people did not participate in critical thinking on a daily basis.  I feel that people who do not take part of critical thinking are some what ignorant and do not consider the alternate effects of the things they do.  A critical thinker typically has factual evidence or some sort of statistics that they can use to back up their statements and reasons for feeling a certain way about a topic. I believe that every one should use critical thinking while making any decisions as oppose to just what they assume or want to believe regardless of the facts.
